Note:
We recommend using this SATA 3.0 card in the PCIE 2.0 or 3.0 slot for the fastest speed.
SATA port multiplier is not supported if the driver is not installed.
We need to install the driver to recognize all disks.
Make sure the computer is turned off before inserting or removing the card. Then insert the card to avoid damaging the motherboard or expansion card.
If there is no CD-ROM or the driver CD can not be read, you can contact the merchant to send the driver for you.

Tips about disk:

Simply works
In Proxmox I could not simply pass the card on as a PCIE device but had to give the TrueNAS VM the hard disks individually. PCIE passtrough is a bit beginner-unfriendly, maybe it does work, but I wasn’t competent enough. In any case, all hard disks were recognized immediately and work perfectly.
