This works!
I have older motherboard and new Corsair 4000D case with the USB-C connector. I needed something to adapt the connector on the mobo to the case connection and this works great.

It does its job at an honest price.
I got this instead of an angled adapter because I didn’t know if there might be interference or obstructions and the part is small, a handful of inches, so in my case it seemed the best choice.
