Auf diesen Spannungswandler hatte ich gewartet um aus Solarmodulen eine 12V-DC Spannung zu bekommen.
Die Lieferung ist hier minimalistisch, einfach nur der Spannungswandler.
Hier sollte es dann doch etwas mehr sein.
Der Wandler ist sauber in das Metallgehäuse vergossen. Hier dürfte kein Wasser eindringen.
Die Eingangsspannung kann zwischen 20 und 60 Volt betragen. Allerdings unter 20V passiert hier nichts.
In der Zuleitung befindet sich eine 25A Sicherung.
Sowohl Zuleitung als auch Ausgangsseitig sin Kippklemmen verbaut.
Hier ging direkt eine kaputt.
Im Leerlauf liefert der Spannungswandler die12V.
Unter einer Belastung von 50W lieferte er allerdings dann nur 11V, schade.
🏆Fazit:
Ein Spannungswandler der nach außen hin sauber verarbeitet ist.
Die Kipphellbeklemmen sind sehr vorsichtig zu bedienen.
Unter Last hat der Spannungswandler allerdings dann nur 11V

(verified owner)Subito ad un primo sguardo si osserva che risulta ben costruito, robusto, una abbondante aletta di raffreddamento che crea l’intero corpo superiore e tutta l’elettronica a bagno di resina per renderlo completamente impermeabile.
I cavi di connessione di una buona sezione, ben dimensionati, un porta fusibile presente sul positivo della linea d’entrata e con un fusibile da 25A già montato.
L’escursione di tensione accettata in ingresso e scritta alla base del convertitore va da 20V a 80V, molto pratico e che si rende utile per mille usi diversi.
Sul fondo è scritto anche la piedinatura utile al cablaggio.
Userò questo convertitore in un sistema solare economico, tra i pannelli che arrivano a tensioni di oltre 20V e il gestore di carica PWM che, come sappiamo, scarta tutto quanto superi i 12V, in questo modo il DC/DC convertirà l’eccesso di tensione in amperaggio utile prima che il gestore di carica PWM lo scarti, dovrei quindi recuperare più energia utile dai pannelli, un po’ il lavoro che fa un gestore di carica MPPT.
Dalle misure fatte ho notato una ottima stabilità in tensione, con fluttuazioni minime, ottimo per evitare sbalzi o incertezze negli apparecchi alimentati.
Molto comodi i morsetti di cablaggio chiudibili a mano, molto pratici.
Un buon prodotto, pratico, stabile e ben fatto.
Al prezzo attuale, € 25,99, il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono.

(verified owner)Per riuscire a compensare tutte queste fluttuazioni si spreca un pochino di energia elettrica, questo si intuisce toccando le alette del dispositivo con la mano, si intiepidiscono perchè il convertitore assorbe gli sbalzi energetici e tenta di livellarli di continuo, dissipando il calore in surplus generato da bobine e semiconduttori.

Ho riscontrato che inizia ad essere perfetto quando riceve dai 20 Volt fino ai 90 Volt. Sotto i 18 Volt oscilla bruscamente e sopra i 90 Volt c’è rischio di far intervenire le protezioni di tensione. A riposo, ossia in stand-by senza carico di uscita, consuma 20 milliampere: se alimentato a 20 Volt consuma 0.4 Watt, se alimentato a 30 Volt consuma 0.6 Watt, etc. etc.: per tali motivi è sempre bene inserire, se possibile, un interruttore d’ingresso.

Rendimento:
come test di conversione ho usato una lampada alogena da 12 Volt/100 Watt
Con 24 Volt di ingresso il rendimento del convertitore è del 94.5 %.
Con 32 Volt di ingresso il rendimento del convertitore è del 95 %.
Etc. …
Sono valori davvero elevati, la sezione di controllo tensione di questo dispositivo è eccellente. Come si può notare il rendimento cresce a mano a mano che la tensione sale, raggiungendo la più alta efficienza a 90 Volt D.C.. Non ho avuto modo di spingerlo fino ai 240 Watt dichiarati, ma è sempre bene lasciare un margine di potenza al vostro progetto, non conviene usarlo nel tratto di curva del suo limite massimo.

La lampada collegata in uscita rimane perfettamente alimentata con 12.2 Volt, sia con 20 Volt di ingresso che salendo in tensione. Come si nota, si spreca ben poca energia, ma solo quando la tensione di ingresso è parecchio bassa, non è un difetto ma un noto fenomeno di dissipazione. E’ ben protetto dall’inversione di polarità, ma il colore dei cavi non ci fa sbagliare, è tutto molto ben evidente. Il fusibile di ingresso è di tipo automobilistico da 25 Ampere: se si lavora con piccoli carichi, è bene sostituire il fusibile per rimodularne la portata , così da rimanere dentro una protezione più efficace. Ottime peraltro le morsettiere ad innesto con leva.

Questo è un converter molto robusto, preciso ed affidabile, da valutare prima di acquistarlo perchè è ottimizzato per alte potenze e carichi stabili da 12 Volt D.C., è ben protetto fino alla IP68 e si può quasi installare sotto la pioggia scrosciante (avendo ben cura di proteggere le due morsettiere). Consigliato certamente.
